1980s Photos and stories from Claremont archives – Peter Thorne and Geoff Miles
Headline “Tigers get VFL pair on the cheap”. These players were Peter Thorne from Melbourne and Geoff Miles from Collingwood. Neither VFL had responded to the transfer requests which enables Claremont to transfer them without the $5,000 fee.
