1979 Football Budget Top recruit Peter Ivanoff who has played 15 games 1979 – 1980. Gerry Atherden decided to turn detective to track down and recruit Peter Ivanoff. Ivanoff arrived in Perth this year as part of a trip around Australia. The former Port Melbourne player decided to head to Queensland to continue his football career. Atherden’s tenacity has been worth it this year because Ivanoff has been an outstanding recruit for us this year.
He has settled down perfectly in the back pocket giving the Claremont defence more stability and experience in an area that worried them last year.
