1968 Newspaper photo and story on John Parkinson and Lindsay Carroll and how they are a team on and off the field. The are pictured besides one of the trucks in their business.
They met while playing Claremont thirds and started as business partners in 1968. Parkinson stated he won a car in 1967 and they sold the vehicle and purchased a truck. The truck was donated by Channel 7 and Wentworth Motors. Lindsay suggested we get into the trucking business and at the time contaminated waste was starting to be an issue and we decided to be in the waste disposal business.
