1964 Story and Photo from Newspaper of Cook smashing through the banner to lead Claremont out. This was the first semi final and Cook had the honor of leading the Claremont team onto the ground. This is a review by Ross Elliott of the first semi final won by Claremont over Subiaco by 12 points.
Best for Claremont was given as Grieve, Mycock, Fairclough, Brayshaw, Dethridge, Clune and Parkinson. Harvey kicked 3 goals and Cook and Parkinson kicked 2 goals each.
