John Rogers of Claremont was reported for striking F. Lewis of East Fremantle.
Claremont’s hopes of going to top spot were rebuffed by East Fremantle when they won 15.12 to 11.5. Claremont had good players but not the talent to match East Fremantle. Claremont lost Marshall before the game and Lorne Cook just sfter the start. Kevin Clune was of only a few good players for the Claremont side.
