1964 article headlined “The Last pennant.” This story was written prior to the 1964 Grand Final between Claremont and East Fremantle.
It detailed the wait Claremont have had to wait since their last premiership in 1940 when they defeated South Fremantle.
Also photographs of Claremont’s Jack Reeves and George Moloney and Subiaco’s goalkicker Smith. It also made the comment a large number of supporters of Claremont at the grand final would not have been alive when Claremont had it’s previous premiership.
