23 September 1963 Brian Fairclough of Katanning is a capable recruit for the Claremont side and has been one of the best players in each of his first three games. For one so robust he is exceptionally fast and his hand-passing and kicking are first class. Fairclough has played 119 games for the Claremont League team between 1963 – 1971
