BERMINGHAM, Brendan Doyle       Played 49 games 1936 to 1939

A product of goldfields club Mines Rovers, talented half forward Brendon ‘Brem’ Bermingham gave good service to Claremont in 49 games in 1936 and 1938-9. He totaled 59 goals. In 1937 and for part of the 1938 season he played back at Mines Rovers. His career highlights included representing Western Australia in a win over South Australia at Subiaco Oval in 1936 and playing in the Claremont’s 1939 premiership-winning team.

In 1944, while stationed in Melbourne during his military service, Bermingham played eight games and kicked one goal for St Kilda in the VFL.

In 1939 the Claremont Football Club player Jack Reeves kept an album of photos and later handed them to his his daughter Jan.
