1935 Players from the Goldfields sent a team to Perth to play a City team. The players from the Goldfields here are P. Crabbe, B. Crabbe,  T. Cornelius, Jack Reeves, R. Buckingham.  Jack Reeves transferred to Claremont at the end of this year but it is not known for the other players.

Jack Reeves, not a tall ruckman by today’s standards, was a lion- hearted toiler who always seem to leave his best games for those when most was at steak in the team. After a somewhat inauspicious time at Boulder City – he was omitted from the club’s 1935 Grand Final team for disciplinary reasons – ‘Jack’ Reeves went on to become a fine ruckman for Claremont in 96 WANFL games between 1936 and 1941 and in 1946.
