1926 Player Joseph Allen, listed as Claremont player 1. he is the first player listed on the mural at the front of the now Claremont building.
Joseph had been the Club secretary in 1925 prior to Claremont’s first year in the league competition. Obviously he was involved in the work to get all the paperwork for the Club to make the transition to the league in finances, premises and players.
