1926 Name changed from Claremont Babies to Claremont Tigers.

Originally when Claremont first started they were the babies of the Competition and therefor called the Claremont ‘babies’.  However, after winning there first game the journalist of the time wrote that they had fought like ‘Tigers’ and that name stuck.

This is the WA Footballer outlining the change in 1926.
