Les McClements was awarded the Tassie Medal for best player at 1947 Interstate Carnival
Les McClements played for Western Australia at the 1947 Australian Football Carnival.
At the end of the game he was handed a copy of the book “Isle of Mountains”.
This book was endorsed from all the other members of the W.A. side and signed on the second page.
This book is currently at Claremont where it will be displayed once the new facilities are ready in the new Clubrooms.
