Do not be surprised to see Anthony Jones start in the Forward line when he next plays for Fremantle. With big man Nick Dunin on the sidelines with a shoulder injury, Gum McKenna was forced to shuffle his side around enabling Jones to play forward. A reliable defender for Claremont (82 games) and Fremantle (37) he played a key role in the last gasp win. Jones finished with 3 points only but it was his presence and use of the ball which was impressive.
The Tigers buoyed by the midfield Jason Norrish, Ashley Prescott, Brad Dodd, Luke Dwyer and David McLean sprung to life.
