1997, July 3, Busselton-Margaret River Times, headlined Story and photos “Obituary Len Breen”. Photo of Len Breen pictured in 1994 was the last survivor of Claremont’s inaugral 1926 league football team. Mr. Breen 90 had lived in Busselton since 1969. Born at Northam he retired in Busselton after a career in the Commercial Bank. Claremont finished at the bottom of the ladder the two seasons he played as a back pocket 1926 and 1927. The following year he was posted to Collie which ended his football career. Former players Monty Buttfield and Ian Brayshaw represented the Club at his funeral.
