1995, August 21, West Australian, Story and Photo “Wing ploy gives Tigers edge”. The innovative tactic of using three wingmen helped Claremont beat East Perth on Saturday. Coach Panizza used the speedy James Ferguson, Neil Marshall as well as youngster Dean Trovarello as a floating wingman. The Trovarello ploy had a three fold effect. 1. at times opposition was confused with his role and how to stop him 2. Left Claremont with an open forward line 3.
