1993, July 6, Western Australian newspaper, Photo and story Gary Edwards.  Photo of Claremont’s Gary Edwards relaxing at home with his daughter Madelyn and the family dog.

Dragging himself away from Kalbarri’s crayfish industry proved a hard decision but he is starting to justify that position.  He decided to stay in the City and put in a full pre-season training to cement a place in the League team.  He bought a lawn mowing round in the Northern Suburbs, works mornings and then looks after his daughter in the afternoon so his wife can work.  Edwards has now established his position in the league side and is pivotal in the centre of the ground as a mid fielder.
