1991, May 20 , West Australian, Story and Photo “McGovern rules as Royals crash”. Photo of Darren Kowal marks over East Perth’s Gavin Howlett during the Tigers vital win. When talking household names Andrew McGovern does not rate among them. But the chunky centreman is building a name for himself with a string of performances which should impress the AFL scouts.
