At the end of the season two players J. Leonard (Subiaco) and W. Thomas (East Perth) tied in the Sandover medal. An adjudicator had been appointed who to review the decision. previously in 1921 the same problem arose and the medal was awarded to Tom Outridge of Subiaco.
